There aren't words to express the incredible loss felt by everyone who knew Jeff Johnston.
To say he was a good friend just doesn't describe what he was to us and so many others.
Jeff, besides owning Chance's Magnum of Mischief and Palimar's No Fear Bella By Chance, was our amateur handler at field trials. Jeff gave each and every dog his all even though they might be in competition with his own dogs. At the end of a brace, he would come in with a dog, a big grin on his face and would state that "she had a good run". When days became short, Jeff told his family that he "had had a good run". We feel privileged to have known him and honored to call him friend.
